SEATTLE, Aug. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Just returning from the Beijing Olympics, Peter Ueberroth , successful entrepreneur, investor, former Major League Baseball Commissioner and current United States Olympic Committee Chairman, will share his insights on what it takes to be a winner in both the business world and on the field.

Mr. Ueberroth has been Managing Director of Contrarian Group Inc., an investment and management company that invests in small and medium sized companies and takes a management role providing strategic guidance, since 1990. In July 1999, Ueberroth successfully orchestrated the purchase of the Pebble Beach Company, bringing it back to U.S. ownership after years of foreign ownership, and is its Owner and Co-Chairman. Ueberroth served as the sixth Commissioner of Major League Baseball from 1984 to 1989. From 1980 to 1984, he was President of the Los Angeles Olympic Organizing Committee (LAOOC), the private non-profit organization responsible for staging and operating the 1984 Los Angeles Olympic Games.
